NEW YORK — Lebhar Friedman, parent company of Drug Store News, has announced that associate publisher and editor in chief Rob Eder has decided to leave the publication, effective Sept. 15.
Eder, who joined Drug Store News in 1997, advanced steadily through the organization from OTC editor to executive editor to editor in chief and associate publisher, with responsibility for DSN print, digital media and live events. Eder is leaving to pursue an entrepreneurial endeavor in an unrelated field.
“Rob has been an instrumental part of the growth of the Drug Store News brand,” said publisher Eric Savitch, acknowledging Eder’s many accomplishments over the course of his 20-year career at the company. “We wish him continued success in his new endeavors.”
