Energizer to launch new charging solutions

NEW ORLEANS — Energizer showcased its new line of portable chargers earlier this month at the International CTIA Wireless Conference's MobileFocus event in New Orleans.

The chargers, which are expected to roll out this year, feature sleek, ergonomic designs, along with blue LED charging and battery status indicators. The products on display were:

  Energizer instant charger: Available for iPhone, iPod and micro USB devices, use AA Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries to increase the run time of smartphones;

  Energizer portable smartphone charger: Featuring a 2500 mAh lithium-ion battery that more than doubles the run time of most smartphones, this charger provides reusable and rechargeable power. Other features for this pocket-sized charger include magnetic cable clips to more easily manage cords and an auto shut-off when the phone is disconnected;

  The Energizer multiport charger offers dual ports to provide users with the ability to simultaneously charge two devices and includes a rechargeable 5000 mAh lithium-ion battery; and

  The Energizer Charging case, made for iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S and available in white and black, protects the iPhone while adding close to a full charge and also features an on/off switch that allows users to save battery life for when they need it most.

  
  

In addition to the aforementioned innovations, Energizer also presented a lineup of USB chargers, including the 5W premium USB wall charger, 5W premium USB car charger, 10W premium USB wall charger and the 10W premium USB car charger. The USB chargers now are available at retail.
