Eukanuba gets pure

MASON, Ohio Eukanuba has launched a line of dog food that is free of corn, wheat, soy and meat byproducts, Procter & Gamble's pet care division announced.

Eukanuba Pure includes real chicken as the first ingredient and is formulated free of artificial colors, artificial flavors or artificial preservatives for both puppies and adult dogs. Eukanuba Pure formula promotes healthy nutrition in six key performance areas, including strong defenses, skin and coat, lean muscles, optimal digestion, strong bones and dental defense.

"Eukanuba Pure is the latest in a clinically proven line of nutritional innovations that help promote the health and well-being of extraordinary dogs everywhere," said Mabeatriz Rodriguez, general manager of P&G pet care in the Americas. "We continually enhance our formulas to provide dog owners with peace of mind, knowing that their dog is getting the nutrition [it needs]."
