Face to FaceRx launches prescriptions, consultation app

RICHMOND HILL, Ontario — A new app allows patients to communicate through audio and video with their pharmacies using a smartphone, tablet or computer.

Face to FaceRx announced the launch of its Prescriptions Mobile App, which also allows patients to send the prescriptions directly to a call center where it will be input directly into the pharmacy's system for immediate dispensing.

The company said the app would eliminate several steps in the current methods of fulfilling prescriptions and allow patients to receive consultation for doing periodic checkups on their medications. Other features include renewals and pharmacy advice and medication reminders.
