Fujifilm, Rite Aid make Halloween 'spooktacular' with photo contest

VALHALLA, N.Y. Fujifilm has joined forces with one of the nation’s leading drug stores to kick off their Picture Perfect Halloween photo contest.

Fujifilm and Rite Aid have asked customers to log on to www.HalloweenPhotoContest.com to register and submit photos and vote on other entries until Nov. 9. The Web site is full of information for creating a spook-tacular Halloween, including great recipes, decorating ideas and instructions, digital scrapbooking kits, and photo-taking tips from the New York Institute of Photography.

Prize packages will be awarded in six categories and will include:

  • Grand Prize: A three day, two night trip for four to Hersheypark in the Dark in 2010 
  • First Prize:  Digital Photography Course: “Fundamentals of Digital Photography,” by the New York Institute of Photography plus a $100 Rite Aid gift card
  • Second Prize: Fujifilm FinePix – ZW33 waterproof digital camera plus a $75 Rite Aid gift card
  • Third Prize: The Rite Aid “My Way” digital camera plus a $50 Rite Aid gift card

In addition, the contest features a Daily Giveaway with thousands of fun photo products including prints, posters, holiday cards, photo mugs and more.
