CHICAGO — In an effort to engage people and help them adopt healthy living habits, Garmin International has partnered with community engagement platform higi on a new health engagement program. The program will include a health challenge, sponsored by Garmin, as well as an educational webinar, retail integration and social media outreach.
The “Go Green, Go Garmin” challenge will launch on March 1, allowing participants to register on high.com or at their local higi kiosk for the opportunity to win Garmin devices and merchandise.
“Garmin is always exploring new and creative ways to engage our customers so they can change behaviors and fulfill their health goals,” Garmin Health&Wellness sales and marketing manager Allison Swellin said. “We are excited about this collaboration with higi and look forward to the benefits the expanded relationship will produce for our customers.”
Garmin will also offer the webinar “Five Tips to Create Positive Habits,” on March 23 at 1 p.m. EST, which will feature higi’s chief technology officer and chief medical officer Dr. Khan Siddiqui.
“We are thrilled with the opportunity to partner with a technology innovator like Garmin,” higi’s chief marketing officer Sheila McCormick said. “Garmin shares our vision that consumers, when armed with timely and meaningful health data, make better health decisions. We look forward to working with Garmin to make it easy and rewarding for consumers to know and own their vital health stats.”
