Giant-Carlisle extends Peapod pickup service to five more stores

CARLISLE, Pa. — Giant Food Stores of Carlisle, Pa., is launching its pickup service at five stores in Pennsylvania's Montgomery and Bucks counties, the Ahold USA-owned supermarket banner said.

The pickup program is offered under a partnership with online retailer and sister company Peapod at stores in the towns of Bensalem, Hatfield, Plymouth Meeting, Royersford and Warminster.

"Giant is committed to providing our customers with options that will enable them to shop whenever and however is most convenient for them," Giant-Carlisle VP sales and merchandising Jeff Beaulieu said. "By partnering with Peapod, Giant Pick Up is a convenient and affordable option for customers to quickly pick up their groceries."
