Hamacher Resource Group to present at Cardinal Health’s 2011 Retail Business Conference
WAUKESHA, Wis. — Hamacher Resource Group, a retail consumer healthcare marketing and research firm, will be presenting at Cardinal Health’s 2011 Retail Business Conference July 20 to 23 in Las Vegas.
Dave Wendland and Kat Fronek, both part of the owners group at HRG, will present two different educational sessions for continuing education credits.
Representatives from HRG have presented at Cardinal Health’s Retail Business Conference for several years, HRG stated. The RBC is designed to offer community pharmacists an opportunity to earn continuing education credits, learn about new products and network with others in the industry.
Wendland will present “Understanding Today’s Consumer,” Saturday, July 23 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., which will be worth one hour of CE credit; and Wendland and Fronek jointly will present “Drugstore Marketing,” an interactive workshop, July 23 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., a presentation worth two hours of CE credits.
Wendland, a thought leader and nearly 20-year veteran in the health, beauty and wellness industry, also is a regular contributor to HealthCare Distributor, writes for RetailWire’s BrainTrust Blog, and has spoken at such events as the Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing Disease State Management conference and Drug Store News’ Diabetes Roundtable. He also has moderated several panels and hosted multiple industry webinars.
Fronek is a 37-year veteran of the industry and 24-year veteran at HRG. She has worked in almost every department at HRG, and prior to HRG spent 13 years in retail drug stores. In her current position as a national account manager, she works with national and regional wholesalers and regional chain and specialty accounts, including Internet pharmacy and point-of-sale vendors. Fronek has presented several CE sessions over the years.
