Hammonds expands Brittle line

DENVER — Hammond's Candies announced that it's adding seven new flavors to its Brittle Crisps line. Consumers will now be able to choose from Maple Walnut, Jalapeno and Lime, Sea Salt Caramel Drizzle, Cayenne and Cashew, Coconut and Spice and Dark Chocolate Drizzle and Cashew.



"These are flavors that help translate traditional, delicious candies for modern audiences," said Andrew Schuman, Hammond's president and CEO. "With the extension of our brittle line, we're giving people new reasons to reach for and enjoy the candies they grew up with."

The company introduced its line of gourmet brittles and other nut candies in 2013. The new flavors will join the existing line, which includes Toffee Crunch, Chocolate Dipped and Toffee Crunch Cashew varieties. Brittles are packaged in 9-oz. re-sealable bags with a suggested retail price from $3.99 to $4.99.
