Hush Hat offers solution to noisy problem

2/24/2017

WASHINGTON TERRACE, Utah — Noisy environments can be harmful to a child’s hearing, with any noise over 85 decibel presenting a hazard — but such common sounds as vacuum cleaners, city street traffic, restaurants, microwave alarms and even some toys can easily exceed that threshold. This is why Hush Baby’s Jaycee Bybee, frustrated by her daughter’s inability to sleep, worked to develop the Hush Hat.

The Hush Hat is designed to comfortably protect a baby’s sensitive hearing, reducing noise through specialized sound-absorbing foam and ultra-soft materials. Rather than completely blocking out all noise, the Hush hat filters noise levels that are dangerous to developing ears.

The Hush Hat, which retails for $24.99, is currently available through BabiesRUs.com, ToysRUs.com, Target.com, Jet.com, Groupon.com, Buybuybaby.com, Walmart.com.
