Kashi launches new GoLean cereal

6/5/2013

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Kashi today introduced Kashi GoLean Vanilla Graham Clusters cereal. The new cereal has 11 g of protein and 9 g of fiber, providing an alternative way to add protein to a daily diet and help achieve healthy lifestyle goals, the company stated.

A different spin on the original GoLean cereal, Kashi GoLean Vanilla Graham Clusters cereal has a blend of naturally sweetened fiber twigs with graham flavor, soy protein squares, Kashi 7 whole grain honey puffs and crunchy oat clusters lightly kissed with vanilla. This combination helps keep the consumer feeling full longer as part of a complete breakfast, the company stated.

"We believe that each morning brings new opportunities to make healthy choices, and eating the right amount of protein plays an important part in that," says Jeff Johnson, senior nutritionist and natural lifestyle expert at Kashi. "With as much protein as an egg, our latest GoLean cereal offers another tasty way to start the day and help keep your body at its best."

Vanilla Graham Clusters cereal is free of synthetic colors and artificial flavors, preservatives or sweeteners and contains no high fructose corn syrup. It's now available at grocers and natural food retailers nationwide for a standard retail price of $3.99.
