Lay's Kettle Cooked announces new variety of chips

3/26/2014

PLANO, Texas — Lay's Kettle Cooked, a brand from PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division, introduced new Lay's Kettle Cooked Lattice Cut potato chips. The new snack is currently available nationwide in two varieties: aged cheddar and black pepper, and roasted garlic and sea salt.

The new chips start with Lay's signature potato, which is then sliced thick and cut into an open-cut lattice shape. The slices are then kettle-cooked in small batches to provide a crispy texture. Consumers can find Lay's Kettle Cooked Lattice Cut potato chips at retailers for a suggested retail price of $3.49 for 7-oz. bag and $1.49 for a 2.5-oz. bag.
