Local Price Chopper celebrates grand reopening

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. Price Chopper is celebrating the grand reopening of one of its stores.

The grocer unveiled Friday its Middletown, N.Y.'s store, which features new decor, relocated pharmacy and floral deptartments, and much more. The exterior also has a new and refreshed look.

As a grand reopening celebration, the store is hosting a House of BBQ fundraiser on Sept. 20 for the local "Feed the Troops" campaign. Anyone making a $2 donation will receive a Boars Head hot dog, chips and a soda. All donations will help with the expense of shipping boxes of collected items to the troops.

Price Chopper operates 100 stores in New York, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
