Marley Coffee lands in Ahold supermarket chains

DENVER — Ahold stores, including Giant Carlisle, Giant Landover and Stop & Shop, will introduce a new coffee product to select store shelves compatible with the Keurig single-serve K-cup machines, the coffee maker announced today.


Marley Coffee, which produces sustainably grown, ethically farmed and artisan roasted gourmet coffee according to the company, will stock Marley Coffee's RealCup Single-Serve cups throughout select key supermarket chains within the Ahold network. Marley will introduce 3 SKUs to Ahold's array of products, including Get Up, Stand Up (light roast), One Love 100% Ethiopian yirgacheffe (medium) and Lively Up expresso (medium dark).

In other news from Marley Coffee, the company announced a partnership with Garden of Life, a manufacturer of nutritional supplements, on a new protein supplement and meal replacement. Garden of Life's Raw Protein and Raw Meal are now available in Marley Coffee flavors at Whole Foods.


Garden of Life's raw, organic meal replacement and protein supplements are made with raw organic sprouted grains, seeds, greens, fruits and vegetables. The products also contain Vitamin Code vitamins, minerals, live probiotics and enzymes.
