McKesson launches redesigned Pharmaserv

ORLANDO — McKesson Pharmacy Systems and Automation announced the launch of the largest software release for its Pharmaserv pharmacy management system in four years at 2014 McKesson ideaShare.



The new Pharmaserv includes adherence program solutions, as well as better integration with McKesson programs that have the ability to bring added value to McKesson distribution customers who use a McKesson pharmacy management system.



“Our focus for this release was to support our loyal customers as they work to meet the demands of a changing healthcare environment,” said Bernie Reese, VP and GM Independent and Small Chain Markets, MPS&A. “We maintained the flexibility that customers love in Pharmaserv and built out its capabilities to support new pharmacy operations and clinical services.”



The latest release is currently on display at McKesson ideaShare, which takes place through July 24 at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Fla.
