McKesson updates CareEnhance software

NEWTON, Mass. McKesson has released a new version of its CareEnhance Clinical Management software, the healthcare services and information technology company announced Tuesday.

McKesson said CCMS 5.0 includes an updated user interface with Microsoft standard navigation to increase effectiveness and ease of use. It also allows case managers to add member self-reported medications in addition to lists already populated from pharmacy claims. 

The company said the new release of CCMS had received good reviews among the 400 clients at the McKesson Health Solutions Conference in late October.

"We are experiencing increased market interest in the area of care management workflow, and it was gratifying to hear positive feedback about this release from our customers at the conference," senior vice president of McKesson Health Solutions Products Division Carolyn Wukitch said in a statement.
