Medicine Shoppe picks Innovatix as chosen provider

NEW YORK Innovatix, the nation’s largest non-acute care group purchasing organization, has been chosen by Medicine Shoppe as its chosen provider of group purchasing services for its Medicine Shoppe and Medicap Pharmacy franchises.

According to John P. Sganga, president and chief executive officer of Innovatix, "Most traditional non-acute group purchasing organizations have become stale, but our offering is far beyond the traditional group purchasing price in the book. We have the infrastructure with our clinical and customer care teams to support long-term care pharmacies that want to pursue the opportunity of providing quality care to beneficiaries in the senior living environment."
