Millstone expands coffee line with two new blends

ORRVILLE, Ohio — Packaged coffee maker Millstone, a brand from J.M. Smucker Co., has added two new varieties of coffee to its line, one of which is certified fair trade.

The new coffees are being introduced as the company works to refresh its brand by expanding its offerings and focusing on explaining how its blends are made.

"We're finding that sophisticated coffee consumers are interested in how different beans and roasts contribute to the flavor profile of the coffee," J.M. Smucker’s VP, corporate communications, Maribeth Burns said. "We are passionate about coffee and committed to discovering new offerings to enhance the coffee experience for Millstone coffee drinkers."

The new blends, Mayan Black Onyx and House Blend, will be available starting in August. The House Blend is a medium-roast coffee blend made from Arabica beans. The Mayan Black Onyx is a darker Arabica roast made from organic beans and is Fair Trade certified.
