MinuteClinic announces openings in Pennsylvania cities

MINNEAPOLIS MinuteClinic, which is a subsidiary of CVS, has announced the opening of in-store health clinics in the Philadelphia metro and Pittsburgh areas.

The company plans to open up 17 more facilities in the Philadelphia metro area, and up to six additional centers in Pittsburgh by year’s end.

MinuteClinic is in-network with the following insurers: Pennsylvania‹ Aetna, Assurant Health, CIGNA, ChoiceCare Network (PPO) - Humana affiliate, Humana, Great-West Healthcare, Devon Health Services, and UnitedHealthCare; New Jersey‹Aetna (excludes HMO), Assurant Health, Beech Street, CBSA, ChoiceCare Network (PPO) - Humana affiliate, CIGNA HealthCare Coventry National Network/First Health Direct PPO, Devon Health Services, Great-West Healthcare, HIP of New York, Humana (excluding HMO), Medicare, PBA (Preferred Benefit Administrators), PerfectHealth, ppoNEXT, TriCare Standard and Vytra.

MinuteClinic, which launched its first clinic in 2000, currently operates more than 275 clinics nationwide.
