Mylan launches generic Combivir

PITTSBURGH — Mylan announced the launch of its lamivudine and zidovudine tablets USP, in 150-mg dosage strength. The drug is the generic version of Combivir from Viiv and is indicated for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in combination with other antiretroviral medications. 


 


Lamivudine and zidovudine tablets USP, 150 mg had sales in the United States of $118.5 million for the 12 months ending June 30, according to IMS Health data.
