Mylan launches generic Epivir

PITTSBURGH — Mylan on Wednesday launched its generic Epivir (lamivudine) tablets. The drug is indicated to treat HIV-1 infections alongside other retroviral agents. 

 

Mylan’s lamivudine will be available in 150- and 300-mg dosage strengths. The drug had U.S. sales of about $27.1 million for the 12 months ended December 2015.
