Nature Valley introduces Oatmeal Squares and Protein Granola products

MINNEAPOLIS — Today, Nature Valley announced two new products: Nature Valley Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares and Nature Valley Protein Granola.

"Consumers have been asking for different variations of our classic Nature Valley granola bars for years. First, we responded with different flavor and texture combinations — from sweet and salty, to nuts and fruit," said Michelle Peterson, associate marketing director for Nature Valley. "Now, we're tackling new product lines that consumers have been asking for and that complement our core business as the creator of the granola bar category."

New Nature Valley Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares are made with 100% natural whole grain oats and are soft-baked. Each square contains 12 g to 16 g of whole grains and is 160 calories or less, making it a good morning snack to pair with coffee, tea or juice. Available in two flavors — Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Brown Sugar — Nature Valley Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares are now available at retailers nationwide with a suggested retail price of $3.89 for a six-bar box.

New Nature Valley Protein Granola is made with natural ingredients, and each serving contains 10 g of protein and at least 23 g of whole grain. Nature Valley Protein Granola can be sprinkled on yogurt, enjoyed with milk or used to satisfy mid-day cravings. The product is available in two varieties — Oats 'n Honey and Oats 'n Dark Chocolate — with a SRP of $4.49 for an 11 oz bag and can be found in the granola aisle at retailers nationwide.
