New Snapbox framed prints transform smartphone photos into framed artwork
ANAHEIM, Calif. — Jondo-USA, a maker of personalized photo and decor products, is making it easy for consumers to create and order framed prints from their smartphone and digital camera photos with the new Snapbox framed prints.
SnapBox products will be available for pick-up and pay at 12,000 retail locations, including Rite Aid and Bartell Drugs, with free shipping to those locations.
With SnapBox, smartphone users can transform their on-the-go photos into works of art for their homes and offices, or share memorable gifts with friends and family. With the fast-growing adoption of smartphones, consumers are capturing countless spontaneous photos, and now they can go one step further by instantly creating and ordering personalized photo décor using those images.
SnapBox framed prints start at less than $10 for a 5x5 or 5x7 print on stretched gallery-wrapped canvas. The new EZWay ordering service can be used with any iPhone, Android or Blackberry smartphone, or from any connected PC, tablet or camera.

Consumers will have the choice of multiple sizes at special 2012 holiday prices ranging from $9.79 to $24.49. The sizes include a 5x5, 5x7, 8x10, 10x13, 9x9, with the 5x5 and 9x9 square SnapBox prints ideal for Instagram photos. The personalized SnapBox framed prints can be shipped to home, sent as a gift — or coming in early November, the option to pick up and pay for SnapBox prints at 12,000 participating retail locations.
All images are printed on stretched canvas, a poly cotton blend made exclusively for Jondo. The finished product has a gloss finish that protects against moisture, harmful UV rays and fading. The stretched canvas print is complete with a 100% kiln-dried wood frame, made from certified renewable forests in Argentina, with a black enamel finish.
To order a SnapBox framed print, consumers email their selected photo to [email protected]. A response email arrives in minutes allowing consumers to preview their SnapBox photo, select and order different sizes. Customers can opt to pay right then for the mail-to-home option, or select free delivery to pick-up and pay at one of its participating retail locations, available in early November.
SnapBox framed print orders are completed and delivered in a few days from one of Jondo’s state-of-the-art production facilities in Anaheim, Seattle or Albany, N.Y.
