Nominate women for our Top Women in Health, Wellness and Beauty Awards

This year, in an effort to recognize the efforts of women in the industry who have made and are currently making a difference, Drug Store News is debuting the Top Women in Health, Wellness and Beauty Awards. But, in order to find the best of the best, we need our readers’ help.

Drug Store News currently is accepting nominations for the awards program, which will recognize nominees for the integral role they play in the retail pharmacy and beauty space in the following categories:

• Career Achievement Award: Recognizes a woman who has demonstrated superior leadership and success over her significant career. The nominee should have a track record of long-term achievements and professional growth. The lifetime recipient will be a woman who is known for her positive influence, competent abilities and her leadership qualities.


• Business Excellence Award (senior directors and vice president levels): Recognizes a woman who has demonstrated achievement, growth and success in the health, wellness and beauty retail space. The recipient of the Business Excellence Award understands the importance of innovative ideas, education, decision-making, mentoring and community service. She is known to many as a woman who has made a difference in the business community and her profession.


• Commitment to Care Award (bench pharmacists, corporate pharmacists): Recognizes a pharmacist who leads in her community. She is engaged in the community through volunteer work, contributes to charitable organizations and has an overall commitment to patient care. The recipient of this award will have a proven record of growth, success and influence in her profession or community.


• Rising Stars Award: Recognizes a woman who is considered an up-and-coming star in her profession. The winner will be a woman to watch who has had significant accomplishments and/or achieved notable success.

All Top Women in Health, Wellness and Beauty winners will be prominently recognized in Drug Store News' October issue, and an awards ceremony will be held on November 20th and 21st at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago to publicly honor all the winners.
