Omnis Health launches EmbracePro

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Omnis Health on Tuesday announced the launch of EmbracePro, a blood-glucose meter for medical professionals. Approved for multi-patient use, EmbracePro features a test strip release button for more hygienic strip disposal and provides accurate results within five seconds.

The EmbracePro blood-glucose meter allows testing with less pain for the patient, requiring a small sample size and alternate site testing locations, such as fingers, the palm or forearm. New EmbracePro gold electrode test strips provide a shorter conductive path, which increases accuracy and reliability. The EmbracePro allows for easy management of results for clinicians, storing up to 500 blood test results with date and time stamp, as well as an event recording mode for more effective data management.
