Orabrush tongue cleaner, tongue foam now available at Walgreens

6/27/2012

PROVO, Utah — Orabrush has announced that Walgreens now is carrying the company’s patented tongue cleaner and its tongue foam in approximately 5,000 stores throughout the United States.

This brings the total number of retail outlets carrying Orabrush products to nearly 30,000 worldwide.

Orabrush’s tongue cleaner features a brush made of ultra-soft, pointed bristles that reach deep into the uneven crevices of a tongue to loosen the bacteria that cause bad breath, and a scraper that then removes the bacteria and residue from the tongue. The Orabrush tongue foam complements the cleaner with seven all-natural enzymes that protect the mouth by eliminating the bacteria responsible for bad breath, while promoting the good bacteria needed to keep a mouth healthy, the company stated.

Since its launch in 2009, Orabrush has executed one of the most successful social media marketing campaigns using YouTube. The company’s YouTube channel has more than 47 million channel views and is the third most subscribed to channel, behind only Apple and Old Spice. Orabrush has also amassed more than 340,000 fans on Facebook. By using what it calls the “Reverse Marketing Model,” Orabrush has parlayed that tremendous online recognition into placement in traditional retail outlets worldwide.

“We have a very loyal online community of fans who have played a critical role in getting us onto retail shelves by demanding the ability to purchase our products from the stores they frequent most,” stated Jeff Davis, CEO of Orabrush. “Walgreens is the largest drug store chain in the United States, and we are thrilled that this will help make our products much more accessible to our followers.”
