Petroleum jelly alternative Waxelene expands distribution to Bed Bath & Beyond

10/10/2012

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Waxelene, a petroleum jelly alternative, now is being sold in Bed Bath & Beyond retail stores, the company has announced. This brings the total count of retail outlets carrying Waxelene to more than 800 across all 50 U.S. states and Canada.

“Retailers and consumers have embraced Waxelene,” Waxelene CEO Todd Cooper said. “It’s an organic product which really appeals to those who are health or eco-conscious. It’s a wonderful baby product so moms have been really supportive. And it’s an amazing, multifunctional beauty and skin care product which has created a tremendous buzz for Waxelene.”

Waxelene can be used as a substitute for more expensive and/or less effective beauty products.

“Very soothing with a subtle scent of beeswax and rosemary, Waxelene has become a must in my kit. Unfortunately, every hairdresser and model that I work with will often try to walk away with it. So now I make sure to carry two jars of it with me at all times,” stated Christy Coleman, a professional makeup artist.

Waxelene’s ingredients — vitamin E oil, beeswax, organic rosemary oil, and organic soy oil — are balanced to synergistically care for skin. These all-natural ingredients are combined using a patent pending aeration formula to create a texture that is designed to not clog pores. The product is made in the USA.
