P&G supports APhA media center with contribution

10/6/2008

WASHINGTON Procter & Gamble has contributed to the American Pharmacists Association Foudation’s media center, APhA announced Monday.

APhA said the building would be finished next year and is part of the expansion and renovation of its headquarters.

“This gift to our capital campaign will allow APhA to better use technology to highlight the work of pharmacists whose efforts are shaping the future of medication use and the healthcare of this industry,” APhA Foundation chief executive officer and executive director William Ellis said.

The center will support functions such as video production, press conferences and interviews. It will be on the first floor of the new 300,000 square-foot building.
