Pharmaca considering new store in Bay Area

BOULDER, Colo. Independent chain Pharmaca is looking at opening a new store this year in the California city of Menlo Park.

Pharmaca senior director of marketing Steve Preston said the chain has not committed to opening a store just yet but is looking at a former restaurant site on Santa Cruz Avenue in the city south of San Francisco. The 19-store West Coast chain currently operates 11 stores in California.
