Price Chopper names director of insurance and workers’ compensation

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Golub Corp./Price Chopper Supermarkets has announced the promotion of Robert Allen to director, insurance and workers’ compensation, reporting directly to Anne Davis, VP of taxation.



In this newly created position, Allen will be responsible for the oversight of corporate property and casualty insurance, as well as the self-insured workers’ compensation program for the 134-store chain.



Allen worked for Price Chopper from 1992 to 1998, then left to become VP of risk management for St. Peter’s Health Partners. He returned to Price Chopper in 2012 as workers’ compensation manager, which he held until this promotion.
