LAKE FOREST, Calif. — As a follow-up to the success of its line of personal bathing products, Pura Naturals debuted a line of sustainable household sponges, which give consumers a more earth-conscious option when cleaning kitchen and bathroom surfaces. The sponges repel water, helping to prevent the growth of bacteria and odor.
Pura Naturals CEO Jim Kordenbrock noted that the scrubber pad on the sponges were crafted from walnut shells and recycled materials. The company also is able to infuse soap into their sponges.
Consumers can choose between citrus soap-infused and no soap-infused options. Each type of sponge also has the option of a walnut scrubber, the company stated. The sponges are available in either a single-pack, three-pack or six-pack; customers can mix and match their preference of no-soap, soap-infused, abrasive side and non-abrasive sponges priced between $1.59 and $7.99.
