MINNEAPOLIS — Target has acquired Pittsburgh-based PoweredAnalytics, a start-up that has developed an in-store personalization platform, the Pittsburgh Business Times reported.
PoweredAnalytics co-founder and CEO Collin Otis announced the news during AlphaLab's Demo Day event on Wednesday. According to the article, PoweredAnalytics, an AlphaLab alum, has created what it calls the first in-store personalization platform to bring an “Amazon-like shopping experience” into a physical store.
The team will reportedly remain in Pittsburgh and the division is expected to grow over the next six to 12 months, according to the article.
