Report: Voters have mixed opinions of North Dakota pharmacy law on out-of-state ownership
NEW YORK — As previously reported, the pharmacy landscape in North Dakota could be heating up if a state law banning out-of-state pharmacy ownership is repealed in November. According to a recent poll, North Dakota voters have mixed opinions.
The measure will be on the Nov. 4 ballot for voters and, according to a recent poll commissioned by Forum Communications, the outcome is a toss up.
The poll, conducted by the University of North Dakota College of Business and Public Administration, found that 39% of respondents oppose the measure, 35% are in favor and 26% of respondents remain undecided.
The telephone poll surveyed 505 randomly selected North Dakotans between Sept. 26 and Oct. 3.
