Veet is introducing new hair-removal products for 2010, including a new range of Suprem’Essence to remove hair while caring for the skin.

The new Suprem’Essence products are formulated with a blend of essential oils and velvet rose fragrance. The suggested retail price is $6.50 for gel cream, $8.59 for spray on and $10.69 for gel cream pump. The shower hair removal cream now is in a new 300 mL bottle for $10.69. There’s also a new Sensitive Formula, which joins the existing Dry Skin variant.

Veet is packaging its hair-removal gel cream in a new 200 mL bottle for $6.50. The new products will begin shipping in January.

Freeman Beauty Labs, whose brands include Feeling Beautiful, Good Stuff Organics and BareFoot, reportedly has purchased several brands from Woodridge Labs. According to published reports, Freeman Beauty Labs has acquired the Psssssst, Vita-K Solutions, Ellin LaVar Textures and Perfect C brands.

Woodridge Labs’ co-founder, Joe Millin, sold the company’s remaining brands to Jocott Enterprises Inc., a company headed up by Millin and the firm’s other founder, Scott Weiss, according to reports.

L’Oréal USA officially has opened its new headquarters in Berkeley Heights, N.J. The new facility marks L’Oréal USA’s second corporate office; the first is located in New York City.

The new facility is home to more than 400 employees and occupies 156,000 sq. ft., covering four floors. It was developed as a high-performance “green” building incorporating energy-efficient and sustainable design criteria.
