Ribbon cutting at revamped Southern California Albertsons/Sav-On Pharmacy

BOISE, Idaho — The Rancho Mirage Albertsons/Sav-On Pharmacy is sporting a new look, and store associates rolled out the red carpet during the Dec. 3 ribbon cutting ceremony, the company announced.



“I’m proud to say that we’ve added hundreds of new items in all of our fresh departments,” said store director Pete Rodriguez. “But we’re really excited about the new in-store salad, soup and juice bars.”



Rancho Mirage is the first Southern California Albertsons to debut a juice bar. Also located near the service deli, the store offers a variety of freshly squeezed citrus and organic juices, as well as spa waters. The bakery department features an assortment of all-occasion cakes, including fondant, whip cream, character, signature and classic cakes.  Another addition is the popular ‘Tres Leches’ cake.

 

As part of the festivities, Rodriguez and his team pledged a $1,000 donation to the Joslyn Senior Citizen Center.
