Rite Aid partners with RetailOne to remodel Brooks/Eckerd locations

ATLANTA Rite Aid has tapped RetailOne as one of the preferred providers of remodel services for the Rite Aid conversion of the Brooks/Eckerd stores it has acquired, RetailOne announced Monday.

RetailOne has responsibility for a significant number of stores located throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The remodel scope of work includes painting in all major departments of the store, ceiling repair and lighting changes, floor repair and installation of new VCT [vinyl composition tile], installing new counters and laminate repairs, installing new fixtures on the sales floor and installing a new graphics decor package.

"Rite Aid has made a value-based decision to partner with RetailOne on its conversion program," stated Bryan Thompson, senior vice president of operations for RetailOne. "The pre-planning work that has been performed by Rite Aid and all contractors involved in the program is the most comprehensive that I have seen in my 20-plus years in the industry."

RetailOne, based in Atlanta, is a supply chain integration company providing a suite of business solutions to retailers that integrate design, manufacturing, procurement, logistics and installation services creating value for new store openings, remodel and rollout programs.
