SDM to open smaller outlets designed for medical buildings

TORONTO Shoppers Drug Mart plans to open 150 Shoppers Simply Pharmacy outlets—a new 1,000-square-foot format designed for medical buildings—Bloomberg News reported Wednesday.

Shoppers expects to have the first 21 Simply Pharmacy outlets opened by the end of the month.

The format features a limited selection of over-the-counter products, to include vitamins.
