Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to release The Informers

CULVER CITY, Calif. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the release date of its 2009 Sundance Film Festival selection.

"The Informers," a 1980s tale of greed, lust and addiction, features an ensemble of both Oscar winners and up-and-coming actors. Special features include commentary by the cast and director, as well as a behind-the-scenes “making-of” featurette.

An official selection at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and winner of the Special Jury Prize at the 2008 CineVegas International Film Festival, "The Informers" will be available Aug. 25 on Blu-ray for $34.95 SRP and DVD for $24.96 SRP.
