SymphonyIRI taps former P&G exec to lead retail solutions

CHICAGO — Market research firm SymphonyIRI Group has named former Procter & Gamble executive Beverly Grant as president of Retail Solutions.



She will report to Mark Parise, president of IRI, SymphonyIRI.



 “We are very excited to have Beverly join us,” stated Andrew Appel, president and CEO of SymphonyIRI. “Her proven record in building successful collaboration partnerships coupled with her broad set of industry relationships makes her a great addition to our team. She is the right leader to help us accelerate growth for our CPG and retail partners.”



Before joining SymphonyIRI, Grant spent 26 years at P&G in various roles, including VP, GM and chief channel officer for the North America Grocery Channel; and global business director of Beauty, Market Strategy and Planning, Food, Beverage and Pet Nutrition.



Most recently, she led P&G’s $8.5 billion retail grocery business.. Prior to P&G, Grant also gained experience in the food and beverage channel at Kroger, as well as in the healthcare, oral care and beauty categories.
