Target to open 'flexible'format' store in Manhattan
Target Corp. confirmed Thursday on its website that it will open its third Manhattan "flexible-format" store in summer 2018.
The retailer will open a 42,367 square foot store in Manhattan’s East Village neighborhood, The Real Deal reported last week.
The space will feature 24,735 square feet on the ground floor and another 17,632 square feet on a lower level.
According to reports, Target has signed a 30-year lease at 500 East 14th Street on the corner of Avenue A, part of a two-building being developed by Extell Development, which will include 150 apartments and two retail spaces.
