Vichy Laboratoires launches three new skin care products in October

10/3/2012

NEW YORK — Vichy Laboratoires has announced three new launches for October: Normaderm Total Mat, ProEven All-in-One Flawless Mineral BB Cream and ProEven Daily Eye Corrector.

Normaderm Total Mat

According to the beauty brand, 35% of the U.S. population has oily skin. In response, Vichy has created a moisturizer to target all causes of shine — even sweat — for an eight-hour clean skin feeling. Enter Normaderm Total Mat.

The new Normaderm Total Mat is designed to produce an immediate and lasting matte effect by absorbing excess sebum and sweat on the skin. It contains salicylic acid in a 0.5% concentration as an exfoliating agent. Normaderm helps to unclog pores and clear imperfections. Perlite, an anti-humidity ingredient, absorbs up to three times its weight in water and is five times more absorbing than talc, a common absorbing ingredient, the company stated. In addition, the polytrap micro-powder has a “blotting paper effect” that absorbs excess sebum.

Normaderm Total Mat has a retail price of $24.50 and launches in October at select CVS/pharmacy, Duane Reade, Walgreens and Ulta stores, as well as online at VichyUSA.com.

ProEven All-in-One Flawless Mineral BB Cream

The new ProEven All-in-One Flawless Mineral BB Cream comes in medium and light shades. It is designed to even tone, conceal dark spots and imperfections, hydrate and protect skin. It contain purity pigments for natural coverage and vitamins Cg + E for their antioxidant properties to help protect against environmental damage. The hyaluronic acid is known for its hydrating and plumping properties and there’s titanium dioxide + octinoxate to provide SPF 20 broad-spectrum UV protection.

The new ProEven Mineral BB Creams has a retail price of $32.50 and launches in October at select CVS/pharmacy locations and online at VichyUSA.com.

ProEven Daily Eye Corrector

The new ProEven Daily Eye Corrector targets all signs of dark circles and uneven tone while addressing excess melanin at the skin surface for a more unified and rejuvenated appearance. It has a combination of ceramide bright, caffeine to improve microcirculation and vitamin B3 to target dark circles, spots and uneven skin tone around the eye contours.

ProEven Daily Eye Corrector has a price of $39.50 and launches in October 2012 at select CVS/pharmacy, Duane Reade, Walgreens and Ulta stores, as well as online at VichyUSA.com.
