Walgreens purchases eight properties

NEW YORK Walgreens has purchased the buildings housing eight of its stores around the country.

The properties, totaling 114,865 square feet, are in Minneapolis, Denver, Niagara Falls, N.Y., Hempstead, N.Y., Colorado Springs, Colo., and the Florida cities of Ocala, Lynn Haven and Sanford.

The company purchased the properties from Lifter Realty, based in North Miami Beach, Fla., for a total of about $34.8 million.
