Walgreens wants customers to 'share a kiss'

NEW YORK Love is in the air and can be seen on a billboard in New York's Times Square, courtesy of Walgreens.

Walgreens launched its "Share a Kiss" campaign, led by Digitas with the Gilmore Group, which allows customers to give a smooch and have it displayed on a billboard in Times Square. From Feb. 10-14, couples can upload their best kissing photo online at shareakiss.walgreens.com, or get their picture taken in-person at One Times Square to have their kiss displayed in bright lights. After being presented for the world to see, the billboard picture then can be downloaded or printed at any Walgreens store.

The kiss pics will be readily available to share on Facebook, or to print as a photo or gift to commemorate the romantic event. More than 100 personalized photo gift items are available through Walgreens online photo center (www.photo.walgreens.com) and also in Walgreens stores. Walgreens offers a wide range of Valentine's Day essentials including chocolates, perfumes, greeting cards and even gift advisors who can help make holiday shopping easier.
