What’s Hot: Brushing up with light

9/24/2007

Belgium-based oral care company Remedent has introduced to the U.S. market its iWhite light-activated teeth whitening kit.

The iWhite tray introduces light technology in a compact mouthpiece, which is powered by a 3-volt battery that pulses the light into whitening foam strips.

Users place an iWhite foam strip in the mouth tray, put the tray in their mouth, push the button to activate the iWhite light technology and wear it for 20 minutes. The process is repeated for lower teeth. The product promises to whiten teeth after 40 minutes a day after five days of consecutive use.

The kit is priced at $45.
