What’s Hot: Kodak develops new single-use cameras

2/11/2008

The photo industry is digital-dominant, but there still is a demand out there for standard film, as evidenced by the 1.2 million analog cameras sold in the United States last year. And that’s why Kodak is developing new and improved film for its single-use and standard cameras.

Kodak next month will introduce a line of single-use cameras featuring its next-generation Kodak Ultra-Max 800-speed color film, which is designed to work in low light and deliver brighter colors.

“We’ve continued to improve our consumer films and single-use cameras to ensure that no matter where and when people are shooting, they have access to tools that help them tell there stories through vibrant, high-quality pictures,” said Kodak executive vice president Jane Hellyar.
