Aubío Life Sciences intros cold sore treatment gel

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — Personal health care company Aubío Life Sciences is bringing its latest product to market.

The Aubío Cold Sore Treatment Gel is being marketed as the only plant-based, over-the-counter product in the cold sore category with non-active Sarracenia in its formula. The carnivorous plant extract has been used medicinally for years as a treatment for troublesome skin conditions, the company said. The gel contains Aubío’s proprietary Advanced SuperBotanicals, a plant complex that enhances smoothness, emollients and moisture to deliver fast results.

The product is available nationwide at Target and Rite Aid stores, as well as other mass and drug retailers, the company said.
