BioSil to be exclusively distributed through Natrol

CHATSWORTH, Calif. Natrol on Thursday announced an exclusive U.S. packaging, distribution and sales arrangement for BioSil, a clinically-tested, orally active collagen generator proven to improve the condition of skin, hair, nails and bones.

Natrol’s BioSil brand includes the same BioSil products formally distributed by a U.S. supplier (Jarrow Formulas), and contains the original, clinically tested ch-OSA ingredient.

“Natrol proudly adds the BioSil brand to the company’s nutraceuticals portfolio, and Natrol has updated BioSil’s packaging to better communicate its clinically supported benefits,” stated Natrol president and chief executive officer Craig Cameron.

BioSil is specifically formulated to naturally nourish the body’s three structural proteins known as “beauty proteins”—collagen, elastin and keratin.

Collagen “plumps” the skin helping remove wrinkles and preventing them from forming. Collagen also helps to continuously hydrate the skin from the inside out. Additionally, for bones, collagen provides the “binding sites” for calcium.

Elastin gives skin the ability to “bounce back,” helping to prevent fine lines and wrinkles.

Keratin is a protein that’s packed into the hair shaft providing thickness, strength and elasticity. Keratin can also give nails strength and clarity.
