WASHINGTON — The Consumer Healthcare Products Association on Friday named Marc Schloss senior director and head of federal government affairs where he will be responsible for developing and implementing federal lobbying strategies on behalf of CHPA and member companies.
Schloss is an experienced and accomplished executive with two decades of experience in federal government affairs. He began his career in the office of Sen. Edward Kennedy as a legislative aide and later advanced to a series of increasingly responsible positions at the Democratic National Committee, Sen. Evan Bayh's Political Action Committee, Van Scoyoc Associates, the Center for American Progress and the National Association of Chain Drug Stores.
Most recently, he served in a leadership role at Mylan on their Congressional outreach efforts.
“Marc’s experience on Capitol Hill, on campaigns, on PACs and in the private sector is a perfect match for CHPA,” stated John Gay, CHPA VP government affairs.
Schloss earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University and a Master of Public Administration degree from American University.
