WASHINGTON — The Consumer Healthcare Products Association last week elected two new manufacturer and five new associate members.
On the manufacturing side, hand sanitizer manufacturer GOJO Industries has joined CHPA. GOJO produces and markets skin health and hygiene solutions for away-from-home settings under the Purell brand. Fertin Pharma has also signed on as a manufacturer member. Fertin is a contract manufacturer of patented, multi-layered, compressed chewing gum technology products in various categories, including smoking cessation and whitening.
New CHPA associate members include Clarkston Consulting, a consulting firm in the areas of strategy, operations and implementation; Complete Compliance Solutions, a consultant firm for regulatory licensing and registration for OTC medicines, cosmetics and medical devices; Gelesis, which consults on therapies under development for safe weight loss and improved glycemic control; HellRC, a research and consulting firm for both Rx and OTC products, switches, market research and clinical market research; and Medeechy, a company that develops technology tools to facilitate decision-making and intake methodology for OTC medicines.
