Church & Dwight donates 350,000 condoms to nation's capitol
WASHINGTON Church & Dwight is donating 350,000 Trojan condoms, valued at $290,000, to the District of Columbia following criticism of the city’s condom distribution program, the Washington Post reported Thursday.
Last week, reports on complaints about those condoms' packaging prompted officials to defend their safety and effectiveness, the Post reported. Health director Gregg A. Pane announced that the HIV/AIDS Administration was evaluating its program, including "feedback on the quality of the condoms and receptivity by clients."
